Welcome to the show and happy December! I have been sitting on this gem of an episode for 2 months. And today I finally get to share it with you all!

This episode I am joined by Marina Maier. What started out as an attempt to heal almost 30 years of her own unhappy relationship with food and body, led her to my training as an Eating Psychology Coach and to starting her Coaching Practice “May You Be Well”. Helping others cultivate a happy and healthy relationship with food, body and self is her passion and calling.

Marina works with women around overeating, emotional eating, habitual eating, weight and body image concerns so that they can finally feel at home in their own skin.

Marina and I met 3 years ago. I say two years in the recording, because it was Summer 2019 when we spent a week together in Colorado. But we met when we both began training with the Institute for the Psychology of Eating in the fall of 18 and became friends in Spring of 19.

Marina has a wealth of knowledge on eating psychology and is a self proclaimed nerd when it comes to the brain. In our chat, Marina explains the brain of the eater and how this impacts our relationship with food. She takes a complex topic, the brain, and makes it easy to understand.

Let’s dive into my chat with Marina.
