In this episode Michelle Filliol and I got together to chat about her journey with emotional eating, what worked for her, and how she has turned that into a career.

Michelle and I met at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating.

Michelle is a certified Mind Body Eating Coach from Ottawa, Canada. She was thirteen when she stepped into a Weight Watchers meeting for the first time.  She spent the next 2 decades weaving in and out of overeating, restricting, emotional eating, weighing and measuring, binge eating and trying to be “good”.  As challenging as those experiences were, she’s grateful because they inspired her to seek new non-diet approaches to get to the bottom of her food and body struggles, as well as become a coach. Today her coaching practice is dedicated to helping women who are done with diets untangle overeating, emotional eating, binge eating, chronic dieting and weight challenges.
