There are many barriers that prevent us from stepping into a yoga studio for our first practice. Of which, the biggest are our own stories and preconceptions. My guest this week is co-founder of Ventura Pop-Up Yoga, Jessy Raspiller. Upon completing the first of many yoga teacher trainings, she was encouraged to reach an underserved market and tap into an audience that didn’t previously have access to yoga. In 2015, Jessy along with her close friends literally blew the walls off the yoga studio and brought it outside to their community. Since then Ventura Pop-Up Yoga has grown into prominent name in the local yoga space. Hosting not only yoga classes, but retreats, surfing, and gatherings. Please follow and support Jessy and Ventura Pop-Up Yoga on Instagram! Or visit their website to see their offerings!
In this episode we talk about...
1. How Jessy went from yoga adverse to running a yoga & wellness business
2. How to deal with imposter syndrome
3. Taking the yoga studio outside
4. The adventure of find her Self
