We all like to be surrounding by people who are cheering us on, supporting and encouraging us in everything we do. Some of our biggest fans are usually our parents, spouses, children and friends.
But what about you? Are you your biggest fan?
I am going to guess that if you are like me, naming yourself as your biggest fan was the furthest thing from your mind. Maybe you just didn’t think about it, maybe the idea seems too boastful or doesn’t seem to sit right with you, or maybe it’s because you can’t see the reasons to be your biggest fan; you focus more on where you think you fall short, instead of who you are. Does this sound like you? I coach many who fall into the last category.
One of the ways that prevents us from becoming our biggest fans is negative self-talk. Negative self-talk may seem innocent at first, but it is pretty toxic, because how we talk to ourselves reflects what we truly believe about ourselves.
On this episode I talk about four ways to stop the negative self-talk, to get you on the road to becoming your biggest fan.
I know that this isn’t easy. I have to work on this every single day because my inner critic is always there. But I have seen the progress and I know you can too. And if you want to become your biggest fan, but need some extra help, get on my calendar by clicking the link below
