We are bombarded daily by all the noise society screams at us, telling us how to attain that “perfect” body; what to eat and not eat, how much to eat, and when. How to exercise, when to exercise, how much and when. And if you struggle with perfectionism and anxiety like I do, this noise becomes deafening. And in our desperation, we may even turn to drastic measures in order obtain what society deems is the “perfect” body. But is there such a thing? Who defines what a "perfect" body really is.
In today's episode I talk with Clarice Paulson, a Balanced Recovery Coach who helps those recover from eating disorders and disordered eating. Having gone through her own journey with an eating disorder, she shares with us the tools she uses to help her clients on the road to their own recovery from disordered eating and learning how to love and appreciate their own bodies.
