The young adult years can be an exciting time. Experiencing the thrill of independence and embarking on new adventures can be exhilirating. But, like any other transition in life, it can also bring a lot of fear and uncertainty. In today's episode I talk with Caleb Price, the College Coach who just recently graduated from Utah State University. He shares some of the main concerns young adults are facing today, and what we can do to best support them as they navigate through this time in their lives, especially when it coes to dealing with anxiety.
As parents, we may naturally think that we can "fix" the struggles our young adult children face by shielding them from their own struggles, or offering unsolicited advice. Afterall, we've been there before. But Caleb shares that this kind of "help" is quite detrimental and offers the kind of help that is much more beneficial in helping the young adult in our lives navigate this time in their lives.
