Have you ever tried untangling anything that was so full of knots, thinking "there is no way I'm ever going to straighten this out!",  and accepting that this is just how it is going to always be?  Christmas lights? Thick, long,  wet hair?  Yep!  I hear you!

Our minds are a lot like those Christmas lights or long, thick hair. Our brains have so much information going in and out all day long,   Thinking thousands of thoughts every single day, and sometimes all of it can get pretty tangled up.  And when this happens,   those feelings of overwhelm, confusion, frustration, anxiety can kick in to high gear, and pretty soon our emotions feel all tangled up as well.    I think you all know what I am talking about.It’s like there’s this big, tangled knot in our heads and in our bodies and we just can’t seem to untangle it, and we even start to believe that this is just how it is always going to be. 

I want to reassure you that this is not how it’s always going to be!  There is a way to untangle all those thoughts and emotions to find the truth of what’s really  going on.  And when we can do this, it gets us back on track again. We can start moving forward again, seeing things more clearly.   

My job, as a coach, is to take the tangled thoughts in your head and the tangled emotions in your body, and help you unravel them, so that you can see the truth. And once you see the truth, you can decide what to do from there.  

In this episode I will walk you through the  four steps that I use to untangle your brain and your emotions:  Awarenes, Acceptance, Allowance, and Adjustment, and what it looks like working with a coach.
