On today's episode, we have Chris and April who are married serial entrepreneurs who fell in love with each other while Chris was in Prison. In this episode, they take us on their journey of how they met, how they built their relationship with Chris behind bars, and how they have been maintaining their relationship for the last 3 years since he has been out. I truly enjoyed interviewing this couple. Some takeaways I gained from this interview:
1. Communication & patience no matter how you start any relationship is truly key
2. Just because two people who come from extreme backgrounds and get together doesn't always scream a trauma bond. Some people just work for some people. Especially if they work together every day choosing each other and striving to do the work emotionally and mentally.
