It is a scientifically proven fact that ‘Crash’, the 1988 single by indie pop geniuses The Primitives, is the best pop song ever written. It is. No really it is. Science proves it.

Formed in 1984, disbanded in 1992, then reunited in 2009, the Coventry born group have some story to tell. And with a brand new single buzzing about, a UK tour plotted for May 2023, and an instillation celebrating their storied career due to open at the Coventry Music Museum next February, they’ve got plenty to talk about in the here and now too. What better time than now, then, to get guitarist and ever constant Paul Court on the podcast for a natter? I can think of no better time. So let’s get into it!
