Coach Chinedu Nwachukwu’s Story:
In this episode, you'll hear from Coach Chinedu Nwachukwu. Chinedu is currently an assistant coach for Jerrod Calhoun at Youngstown State University. At 18, Chinedu knew that he wanted to be a coach when he was a student assistant coach for John Beilein at Michigan. While he was assisting the Michigan program, he was also coaching girls basketball in the Ann Arbor area (Freshman Basketball & AAU). Young Coaches: do you want to coach at the Division I level? Then Coach Chinedu is your guy. His incredible journey: Student Assistant at Michigan, GA at the University of Findlay, Assistant Coach at Saginaw Valley State, Director of Operations at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Director of Player Personnel at Michigan and now Youngstown State. Chinedu shares detailed breakdowns of what he learned at each opportunity.
