How many times a day do you apologize?
You may think apologizing is a harmless act of politeness. But I want to challenge you here.
A lot of time, we apologize from the place of weakness and lack of confidence rather than being polite.
There are 3 major reasons why apologizing isn't always a good thing:
1) Apologizing is a sign of weakness and insecurity
2) Apologizing is a way to seek reassurance
3) Apologizing can be annoying
You may say words such as 'I'm sorry" and "I apologize" are harmless words.
But I tell you that words have "energy". When we say something, we put the energy out in universe and create a result.
Instead of apologizing from the place of shame and insecurity, let's show gratitude by saying "Thank you".
Instead of saying "I'm sorry, I'm late", you can say "Thank you for waiting for me".
Do you see the difference between energies each of these sentences produce?
This way, you put a whole lot of positive energy out there.
