When Maggie joined the force as a detective she truly wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. A male dominated profession that don’t take kindly to those who still wish to think critically and engage their moral compass no matter what the cost.
Maggie is a true inspiration I have so much respect for her! What she has achieved under huge amounts of pressure to be silenced yet has continued to show integrity and strength and fight for those that have no voice.
The judicial system and police policies unfortunately in many cases are not for the wellbeing of those who suffer in crimes but are twisted to protect those at fault and within the system itself.
Maggie has exposed the corruption through her book (Survivors) which then went onto be made into a documentary called Three Girls. Maggie is now the founder of the Maggie Oliver Foundation helping empower survivors of abuse.
