Sometimes people ask me if I’m a motivational speaker and I am always quick to tell them that while I hope to inspire people, motivation is something that has to come from inside yourself. 

That said there are some simple tips and tools you can use to try to get yourself jump started if you know you have a goal you want to reach but are struggling with the motivation to get there. 

  1. Set clear goals and write them down
  2. Reward yourself along the way for achieving those small goals
  3. Break the goal into small steps to get out of ruts of procrastination
  4. Share your goals with others to create accountability
