I would love to hear from you, just send me text and let me know what you think of the podcast.

Happy Labor Day everyone. I wanted to spend today looking back at the history of Labor Day and what this day really means beyond some silly idea that starting tomorrow you shouldn’t wear white pants.

Labor Day celebrates the formation of labor unions which helped bring an end to a time in America where most people worked over 80 hours a week and barely made a living. On top of that child labor was common and exploited.

So I think today is a great day to be grateful for the opportunities we have in our lives and our careers compared to 150 years ago. Instead of simply shopping and bar-b-queuing, maybe take some time today to consider if you are happy with your work choices and if your not, start taking a step towards taking advantage of all the opportunities available to you today.
