Diana Schutz is back, and it's almost like she never left! After a bit more philosophizing, we dig into the three things we missed the first time: academia, Dark Horse, and translation. As you may know, Diana spends a lot of her time now as a professor at Portland State University, where she helped establish the Comics Studies program. And she's an award winning translator, having just won a 2024 Eisner for the latest edition of Blacksad. But before that, of course, she spent 25 years in a variety of editorial roles at Dark Horse. We dig deep into all of that and more on today's episode!
