Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, a former Nigerian minister of
Education and two-term governor of Kano State, under the ANPP
recently defected to the PDP, just three months after he joined the
NNPP from the APC.
Shekarau dumped the NNPP over alleged injustice, and also
announced his withdrawal from his Kano Central senatorial bid in the
2023 general election.
