AllSportsTucson.com's Javier Morales interviews former Sahuaro and Arizona football great Jay Dobyns, who is in his third year as Tanque Verde's head coach. Dobyns has orchestrated one of the most successful rebuilds in Southern Arizona high school football history coaching the Hawks to a 15-7 record in his three years. The program was 14-66 in the eight seasons before his hire. Dobyns has Tanque Verde on the brink of making the state playoffs for the first time in the program's 16-year history. The Hawks host Willcox for the 2A San Pedro title and automatic bid to the state playoffs on Friday, Oct. 28.
