Fresh off going a combined 1-3 in their picks, Dave and John start the show talking about the Championship Sunday games they had just watched. Dave rants about how stupid the MLB Hall of Fame is, and how the reporters who vote on it care more about bringing attention to themselves then making rational decisions about the Hall of Fame. In honour of reports leaking that James Harden will test free agency in the off-season, we talk about our favourite over hyped failures in sports. We spend a few minutes discussing Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger retiring. We also discuss if we just witnessed the golden age of quarterbacks, or if it’s an ever evolving position and the next generation will always surpass the old ones. We finish off this Monday’s episode with our usual grievances and bright spots of the week.
