Episode 18. Sara in Pennsylvania
In this episode, I will be talking with Sara in Pennsylvania. Sara and her family were exposed to H1N1 years ago and since then, they have been navigating complex medical auto immune issues. Because of this, Sara and her husband had their eye on the news when word of what we now call COVID19 first started popping up in Wuhan, China. Sara and her family decided to "close their doors" a few weeks before the United States, but she also acknowledged that with her family's immune compromised status, she may lose people she loved. Her parents got COVID in November of 2020 and her father passed away on December 2, 2020.
Sara is an amazing storyteller and she tell she family's story so beautifully. The love she has for her father shines through in each word. Sara also talks about the various medical issues her family faces now and the issues her father overcame during his life.
