Asking questions as a new nurse or student can feel intimidating at first. We are often afraid to interrupt care or "get in the way." We can also be afraid to look "stupid" or ask things we "should" know the answer to, especially when we are paired with nurses who are less than supportive. On this episode, we discuss these common barriers, but also tactical tips on how to grow your confidence with this practice and ask better questions in general. Asking questions is a VITAL part of your growth as a nurse since this profession requires lifelong learning. So let's abolish this fear that is often associated with admitting when you do not know. After all, you will never gain the knowledge if you never ask.
