On this episode, I give you an idea of the in's and out's of a night in the ICU (focusing on one patient only). I go through a full patient report, setting up my night, passing meds, troubleshooting, messing with pumps, and so much more. I essentially aim to walk you through what my night looked like, problems I faced, critical thinking opportunities, and what the flow of a nightshift in the ICU might look like. Keep in mind this is a single example, only focusing on one patient, and excluding emergency scenarios for this first case. For those of you who are not able to experience clinicals in the hospital due to COVID, I thought that this might be helpful just to hear the day-to-day flow you might experience. Let me know what you think @thenursingcoop, and let me know what you would like to hear more of/less of in future episodes! Remember that this is all for you guys! Happy nursing!
