Description

Alexandra joins us to talk about her journey in gaining confidence and having a community to rely on. Having her parents move to the United States from Korea, Woo struggled with many hardships with identity and fitting in. She learned the importance of having a community, network, and mentors who believe in you during these struggling times. It is extremely important to have someone to talk to, a safe space, when dealing with the world around us. This is why she wants to be that safe space by mentoring others based on the experiences she has had to get to where she is today. Woo also speaks on working with Spotify to help build platforms and infrastructure internationally, where the company respects and appreciates her time as an employee. It is so important to know your worth and have a community that backs you up and supports you along your journey.
