Interior Designer and stylist Hema Persad joins us to talk about her journey going from law school and working in that field, to transitioning into her passion of fashion and design. Growing up in Toronto Canada until she was 11, Hema stayed connected with her Indo-Guyanese roots through her family, and learned a lot about her culture that added to her character. She shares her wide variety of knowledge and experience she's gained being in many different areas of work, and gives tips on things like building trust and relationships with your clients, which translates to any field. She also talks about how important it is to stay true to yourself, and how she kept faith in herself when moving across the country to pursue her dream, even when things got difficult.
