Lola Adeyemo is an Author, ERG Expert, as well as the Founder and CEO of EQIMindset. She was born and raised in Nigeria, and came to the US when she was 25 seeking an advanced degree. As one of 6 siblings and the daughter of a professor, she has achieved many impressive accolades such as a bachelor degree in biochemistry, a master degree in biotech with a minor concentration in biotech management. She received multiple certifications in project management, diversity, and several other areas. Lola joins us this week to share her experience as a Black woman and an Immigrant in corporate America. She talks about some of the difficulties that immigrants face in the workspace where there is a cultural barrier, and how important it is to have your own voice and supporting fellow immigrants. Her upcoming book, "The Immigrant Woman's Experience in Corporate America" is being released in fall 2022.
