Migrating to a new country and entering the job market can be challenging and disconnected for many immigrants. Greisy's journey was not different. After a successful law career in the Dominican Republic, it was a difficult journey establishing a career in the United States, a completely new environment. Recruiters recommended for her to go back to school because they could not connect to her international background. Greisy relied on the success of her previous experience to self advocate and communicate  her value when pursuing opportunities and in her journey to becoming the VP of Compliance at Goldman Sachs. She talks with us about her challenging journey in the job market and how she is advocating for other minorities in the workforce.
