As an immigrant who moved to the US at the age of 17, Bhawna Sharma Puri does not take her career success for granted. She is passionate about giving back to fellow immigrants and other women in tech because she understands that she did not have a blueprint to navigate in her career when she moved to the United States. She is on the chair of California State University as a board council member of the Customer Success program.
Regardless of the fact that she came to this country alone, Bhawna was able to graduate at the top 5% within the University at Buffalo, Summa Cum Laude with honors. She speaks about the challenges of assimilating and thriving in a new culture and some of the pitfalls she avoided as an immigrant.
She has over 15 years of experience driving revenue focused marketing programs at Oracle, Net-App and currently as the Global Platform Partner Marketing for a tech company.
