Philippians 4:8, MSG

...you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious--the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.

The Scripture tells us that we need to be disciplined in our minds. You can't dwell on every imagination because your mind will naturally gravitate toward the negative. If your business slows down, don't be surprised if in your imagination you start seeing people being laid off and the doors closing. If you're not disciplined and you let those images play, you're going to live worried, stressed out, and have no joy. If you're dealing with an illness, negative imaginations will show you going downhill fast. When you dwell on those negative images, it's going to cause you to live in fear and discouragement, which only makes you weaker.

Change the channel. You can create new pictures in your mind. Start seeing your business taking off and new customers showing up. Start seeing yourself healthy and full of energy, living a long, healthy life. If you use your mind the right way, it will help you stay positive, filled with hope, and believe that God can turn it around.

Father, thank You for giving me the power to control the imaginations and thoughts playing in my mind. Thank You that I can change the channel from negative imaginations that come against me to positive imaginations that keep me moving forward. I'm switching over to the hope network. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
