Zechariah 9:12, NKJV
Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.
In the Scripture, Job honored God and lived a life of excellence, yet he saw the bottom fall out. He lost his business, his children, and his health. Most of the time all we think about is Job's suffering, which was extreme, painful, and unfair, but many commentators say it lasted less than a year. Job stayed in faith, kept declaring God's favor, made it through the suffering, and went on to live a long, blessed life with his health restored, children and grandchildren, and double his wealth.
When you find yourself in the middle of the difficulty, do as Job did and declare God's favor. In sickness, talk about health. In lack, talk about abundance. In bad breaks, talk about favor. In weakness, talk about strength. If you have a victorious mouth, you will have an abundant, victorious life. Dare to declare, "I am blessed. I am healthy. I am more than a conqueror." You are prophesying your future. Make sure what you're saying is what you want.
Father, thank You that You are on the throne, and You are with me through every time of suffering. Thank You that You can bring me out of difficulties better off than I was before they showed up. I believe that Your favor is on me, and You are going to exceed my expectations. In Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.
