Psalm 21:2, NLT
For you have given him his heart's desire; you have withheld nothing he requested.
We all have dreams we've given up on. Too often we think it's been too long, we've made too many mistakes, the problem will never turn around, and we accept it's always going to be this way. But just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Who told you that you're not going to love again, not going to be healthy again, or not going to get that house? That didn't come from God. It may feel like it's over, but God is saying, "I'm still going to bring that dream to pass." Now you have to get in agreement with God and start expecting again.
As long as you think it will never work out, that's going to keep you from the new things God has in store. Don't believe those lies. Start dreaming again; start believing again. Freedom is in your future. Wholeness belongs to you. Get your passion back. Stir up your gifts. What God promised you, He's still going to bring to pass.
Father, thank You for the expectancy rising in my heart that You have good things in store for me. Thank You that my hopes and dreams can be in You alone. I believe and declare that nothing is going to keep me from what You have in store. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
