Note-worthy Points:
~ Budgeting is NEVER PERFECT, it's PRACTICE!
~ Even after YEARS of budgeting, you can hear my husband is still drawn to take the bank account balance at face value, and forgets to trust the budget! I still do this too… BECAUSE this is a Deeply ROOTED Habit stemming from childhood and early adulthood.Â
~ If you are having trouble getting your life partner on board with budgeting and working together to reach money goals, SO WHAT!? DO THIS ANYWAY!
~ You’ll notice we are prioritizing where we want to spend our money. WE ARE NOT DEPRIVED in the least bit by budgeting.

~ TRUTH TIME: You can hear tiny elevations in our voices (mostly mine) that indicate discomfort. BUT, this is a GOOD THING! Talking about money, and working through it TOGETHER AS A TEAM has created a deeper bond, helped us sustain a strong marriage.
