With access to programs like Canva everyone suddenly thinks they're a creative genius, but today we're discussing why having a Canva account doesn't make you a designer.
There are so many essential elements that need to be thought through with any kind of design.
For example, the design brief outlining the purpose & intention behind the design, who the design is meant to attract, & key elements which need to be included in the design.
We need an understanding of how things work, & why things work the way that they work.
Great design subconsciously influences the decisions of those viewing it. You can make someone feel something through visually appealing or visually emotive design.
Before you go on your design journey be sure you understand:
Who the target is
What platform(s) it will be appearing on
The Objective of the design
Key messaging
Format
Contact details
