For this episode I went to Bedstuy, Brooklyn to meet Zenat Begum at Playground Coffee Shop. Zenat is the owner and founder of this Brooklyn coffee shop. This is not your ordinary place to grab coffee as it also runs a radio station/recording studio out of the basement, a curated bookstore, has a community fridge, greenhouse, and becomes a venue at night! A brainchild of Zenat, Playground has become a place to empower her friends, employ people of color, and give back to the community she grew up in. This is Episode 12!
