This is the first poem I ever performed at an open mic. I use poetry to express myself in ways that would be hard in regular conversation. This poem exemplifies my internal challenges while dating. Somebody told me I can't have my cake and eat it too. Well....... I be nibbling and I'm not ashamed to admit it. This poem has helped me to address my messy ways prompted me to take steps into becoming a better man. All and all, I'm uploading this poem because I like it.
