Shirley Ann Duguay was a loving, single mother of five children who went missing one morning in October 1994 from her home town on Prince Edward Island in Canada. The investigation quickly closed in on her Ex- common law husband Doug Beamish as the number one suspect, but didn't have much evidence to rely on initially. As the investigation continued, RCMP began to come across scattered clues and ended up convicting beamish on some very obscure evidence that they found. This case would set precedence for a new type of DNA evidence to be used in court!
