Evan’s news segment shared about the everyday hero, the caregiver. Featuring an at-home nursing assistant, Leah Smith, who was awarded Regional Southeast Caregiver of the Year and nominated by her client's daughter. 

Our guest, Lizz Lewis, talked about her “sandwich caregiving” story and how she found connection through social media. She is an advocate for all of those touched by Alzheimer’s disease, and all who care for them. Lizz is an entrepreneur and has developed structured wellness programs focusing on women’s spiritual growth and self care at a rustic location on Anderson Island in Washington.

Savy shared about her weekly support sessions through Gimme A Break caregiver non-profit and some of the peculiar warning signs of Dementia, such as missing sarcasm, shoplifting, and hiding things or hoarding.
