In "M3GAN", directed by Gerard Johnstone, written by Akela Cooper, and produced by James Wan, a young girl, whose parents recently died, gets a new best friend in the form of M3GAN, a robotic doll with advanced artificial intelligence. Of course, before long, M3GAN becomes a bit over-protective.
