“Tenebrae”, also known as “Tenebre” or “Unsane”, is considered by many to be the definition of a giallo, which is a a genre of Italian film know for its mix of mystery and horror elements. Directed by the master of Italian horror, Dario Argento, it’s about an American author, Peter Neal (played by Anthony Franciosa) who travels to Rome to promote his book, only to get caught up in a murder mystery inspired by his own novels.
