Description

In the inaugural episode of the Outdoor Journal Radio Podcast, Angelo Viola and Pete Bowman are joined by Ontario's former Minister of Natural Resources, Jerry Ouellette.

Before getting down to business, Ang and Pete go over a few pressing issues facing outdoorsmen today, such as the Lake Trout's return to Lake Erie, serial bear feeders in BC, and Coyote attacks in Stanley Park. Then, Pete shares some of his interesting Coyote control methods, a story about his grandfather giving boxing lessons to a black bear, and a tale about his father's time-keeping pet deer.

Later in the show, the boys are joined by former Minster Jerry Ouellette. The topics discussed include: why bears are moving into cities; coyotes digging up lost pets; how fishing laws are made; Ang's experience as a Walleye survey consultant; hunting on Sundays; fish carcasses being thrown into lakes; livewells being illegal; Hitler's gripe with catch and release fishing; Pete's fascination with Perch eyes;  legal mushrooms; and much more!
