Dr. Hong Sheng Chiong is a senior ophthalmology registrar, who trained in Ireland and Penang (Malaysia). In 2014, he founded oDocs Eye Care and released the world's first open-source smartphone retinal imaging adapter. oDocs Eye Care is an award-winning social enterprise and independent eye care research lab based in New Zealand, with a mission to end preventable blindness by increasing access and affordability of eye care.
