When I think of Howard Cato I think of a leader, a man of his word, and a damn good bike racer. I first met Howard at a national a few years back. He approached me like he already knew me for years and he's been that way with me since that day. It's evident Cato loves his team and riders. Bay Area Bmxer's are always looking clean in their kits from a fresh new design every year. In 2021 B.A.B.S. won their first national bike shop championship after many years trying for the title. In 2022 Howard as moved his team to the top tier of the sport, he went factory. Recently I sat down with him to discuss Bay Areas championship run, his riders, and going factory.
