It is funny how we can meet someone across the country and have so much in common, but you would have never met.  That is how I felt when I met Erika.  From a young age, Erika grabbed hold of the promise of Jesus and never let go.  Even though she has been through a lot, she bravely shares her grief and the joy that comes from Jesus.

I appreciated Erika's authenticity and honesty after I asked her the question, what is one lie that you fight hard not to believe.  It seems so simple, yet the Devil works so hard to try to get us to keep these lies in the forefront of our minds, but never wants us to say them out loud.  Because when we do, a little bit gets chipped away.  The funny thing is Erika and I have the same lie in common.

I know you will appreciate this conversation with Erika and how each of us can step out every day knowing we are wonderfully made.
