Hello and welcome to the Late Kick Off Football Podcast.
It's the curse of 48... we lost episode 48 of the first half-century, and we very nearly lost episode 48 of the second half-century! However, Jamie and Mike salvaged a record and it is still a cracking episode.
We start in Tottenham with VAR-mania, we focus on Spurs' unique approach to going down to 9 men, as well as the big decisions and the lack of credit headed Chelsea's way.
The other big VAR game of the weekend was Newcastle v Arsenal, we make sure to delve into the issues and discuss the response to blockbuster Arteta interview. Mike also considers Arsenal's current challenges in front of goal and where there season is headed. It would be remiss of us not to cover Sheffield United's first win of the season and that is where we finish.
