The Padres are officially on the road to state! Escorted by the San Mateo Police Department, the Serra varsity football team boarded three buses on their way to the airport to hop on a chartered jet to the Los Angeles area, where on Saturday they will battle the Mater Dei Monarchs in the CIF Open Division State Championships.
