To listen is to give one's attention to a sound. To discern is to go a step farther and distinguish between those sounds. Do you ever wrestle with uncertainty about whether something you're hearing is from God or not? In Christ, we are sheep who hear our Shepherd's voice, but rulers of darkness are devoted in their pursuit to speak to us as well. And not only to speak, but lie. So what do we do? Tyla Kozub doesn't hesitate with her answer: pray! She gives us the needed reminder that the Holy Spirit wants us to know the truth and that He will always lead us back to Jesus.
