"My family’s sin is driving me crazy! Im struggling not to judge though I know they are sheep without a shepherd. They (my parents and two younger sisters) are all atheist, consumed with own agenda. There was a lot of chaos and hurt growing up. My parents see Christians as hypocrites and the church as a place to take their money. They have a “I’m glad you found something that works for you” attitude. I’ve shared the gospel with them, asked forgiveness for things the Holy Spirit has convicted me of, and respectfully stopped the preaching when asked to. They see the fruit of the Spirit but just think I’ve “found myself.” It’s so hard for me to love them at this point in my life. It can sadly feel forced. I’ve grown weary of praying and am struggling with judgement as I watch their unrepentant lives. Is it terrible to ask God to send someone else? Ugh, too close to home…"
