Sue and her conversation partner, Tamara, tackle this question, "How do I respond when someone keeps bringing up politics when I ask them specifically not to? This particular person feels like they need to educate me. I find this condescending but this person thinks that it is their responsibility to show people the truth. It is very hard not to respond in anger and this is someone in the family so it's not like I can just cut the relationship."
