Description

“tat pratiṣedhārtham eka tattvābhyāsaḥ”.

In order to counteract distractions, one should practice concentrating on a single subject.

This is not a call to drop everything and embark on a monastic life. On the contrary, the very details of our lives, painful and not painful are the material with which to go about preparing oneself for that one principle. This concluding episode is not about what that one principle is. There are concrete suggestions from the Yogi, but there is one suggestion that is most important, that it has to be what works for you. In subsequent blogs, we will dwell in detail on those principle, that could help us as we strive to find our own. Here we are concerned with reaching to a clarity about the idea that there can be one principle to solve our deepest and seemingly densest mental patterns, and that one principle is to be practiced in our existing life.
