Writing a funny song is a lot like writing a joke. You never really know if it’s funny until you play if for people. It’s best to play it for a crowd because some will get it and some may not. Laughter is infectious. It’s like yawning. If several people laugh, then other people will start laughing as well. It’s human nature. We can’t help ourselves.
