The season of Advent - the expectant preparation for the birth of the Word on Earth at Christmas - has begun.
The powerful gospel reading for Advent is not of the Annunciation to Mary but an apocalyptic image taken from the gospel according to Luke (chapter 21:25-36), where we hear: "then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with power and great glory."
Why doesn't it say here, "the Son of God"?
In this episode, Jonah and Patrick dive deeply into riddle of this phrasing, "the Son of Man", opening up and referring to many essential aspects of esoteric Christianity that help us to understand the challenge and nature of this moment in world history.
