At the start of this Passiontide (Lent) season, 2021, Jonah and Patrick finish their series exploring the nature of the trinity in light of the revelations in the liturgical language of the Eucharist service in the movement for religious renewal [website link].
In Passiontide we hear a diagnosis of what is afflicting humanity: we have lost the spirit, the place of our hearts has become empty. This loss becomes the experience that leads to a longing - a reaching for - the spirit, the spirit that enlightens us, that will bring healing - the Holy Spirit.
They explore what it means to grasp the spirit and end up taking a turn towards the mystery of “The Sign of Jonah”. We hope this conversation stirs your own thoughts and reflections and look forward to hearing from you!
